DescriptionProstaglandin E1 (PGE1) is a major prostaglandin found in human semen that inhibits platelet aggregation. The compound has documented mouse Ki values of 1.1, 2.1, 3.6, 10 and 13 nM for the respective receptors EP3, EP4, EP1, EP2 and IP. Aside from the activity at EP receptors, PGE1 has also been shown to affect PKC, calcium movement, and adenylate cyclase yielding a multitude of physiological effects.
